Who we are

Stone Scout & Guide Band has been a permanent fixture in Stone since its inception in 1986.

Kath Pickering, affectionately know to the young people as 'Mrs P', had a dream to bring together both the Scouting and Guiding organisations locally and provide a fun activity for the youth of the town.

The band has enjoyed huge success in its time and recently took part in a workshop weekend with the Royal Marines Band Service on Whale Island, Portsmouth.

You'll most likely find us practising our pieces and marching skills at The Pump House on Westbridge Park, but keep an eye out on our Events page to find out where you can see us at our best - heading up a parade or competing at national level!
